  • 98% found the health screening valuable
  • 91% felt that the health screening increased their awareness of their health and risks for heart disease
  • 100% found it helpful having an opportunity to have a health check and be able to speak to a health professional/GP
  • 77% would not visit a GP or other health professional as a result of this screening
  • 4.5% were referred to a GP as a result of the screening
  • 42.5% felt that they would make changes to improve their health.
  • 79% felt that the program will have an impact on their general health and wellbeing
  • 51% will make changes at home with their families

The topics that they would like to address in Health Education Sessions are as follows:

Healthy Eating 30.5%
Simple Exercise 23.5%
Reducing Stress 23.5%
Information on Cholesterol 27.5%
Value of Exercise 18.5%
Information on Blood Pressure 13.5%
Role of Community Health 4.5%
Information on Diabetes 6.5%
Accessing GP's/Health Practitioners 4.5%
   
  • 100% did not have a problem with Confidentiality and the process of the screening

After the Session the Participants felt……
