Comments:
- It was just by
chance that I heard about this meeting. Perhaps more advertising would
be advantageous to get a larger turnout. I have some hearing problems
and found the acoustics terrible so didn't comprehend much of the words.
There seemed to be an echo with most speakers. In future a smaller hall
with better acoustics would help us hearing impaired.
- Much appreciated.
- I thought the night
was very interesting.
- Each one of these
speakers could have a night to themselves.
- Should be given
to men 20-30 years of age.
- More of this type
of seminar should be held.
- Timely and informative
- thank you to presenters, Rotary and Bernard!
- Thanks for doing
this! We need more in-depth 'if possible'.
- All the details
are too much. Spike the Interest then make details HANDY. Give need
to know "dire need" in examples. I do NOT want to hear the
same thing over and over. Need new info.
- Very informative.
- There needs to
be more effort on men's isolation and emotional life.
- The time would
have been better spent with Bernard doing the full entertaining and
energetic presentation which includes enough of the same information
at a general level. I would have stayed more attentive except for prostate
talk by Lavoie.
- I think the awareness
is critical in educating men about their health. The problem is getting
the message out to the higher risk men. Smokers, etc, will probably
never come to this type of seminar until after its too late.
- Future presentations
need a lot more advance publicity.
- We should have
more of these.
- Someone should
be assigned to coordinate displays. Greater opportunity to get information
out to a target audience.
- Thank you for the
very informative night. I feel that I learned a lot and the evening
was well spent. Should have more of these groups.
- Good for David
Bowering to take the initiative. This is the real first health promotive
thing the NOHR has done in 6 years! Need to do more. Hope rotary clubs
continue to sponsor these kinds of nights. Put a link to Bernard's site
on the NOHR site.
